The Service

TextVantage sends you one journaling question by text message each day at a time you choose. You reply by text, and your replies are saved as private journal entries you can view on your TextVantage dashboard. TextVantage is intended for users 18 years of age or older and is currently offered in the United States.

Accounts and subscriptions

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your phone number, and for keeping your account credentials secure. TextVantage offers a free trial period, after which continued access to certain features requires a paid subscription (TextVantage Pro), billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

SMS Terms

Creating a TextVantage account never opts you in to text messages. You only agree to receive text messages from TextVantage (Smith Family Enterprises LLC) at your mobile phone number when you take a separate, explicit opt-in action — either by checking the consent box on our waitlist form, or by turning on "Daily text" in your account Settings. That consent covers:

• A one-time confirmation text welcoming you when you opt in.
• One journaling question per day, at the time you choose.
• Occasional account-related messages, such as billing or support notices.

• Message frequency: up to one message per day, plus occasional account-related messages.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You'll receive one final confirmation text and no further messages.
• Reply START to resume messages after opting out, or HELP for help.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include major U.S. wireless carriers; coverage and reliability may vary.
• You can also manage your SMS preferences anytime from your TextVantage dashboard's Settings page.

Your content

You own your journal entries. We use them only to operate the Service for you — including generating your personal mood, tag, and reflection insights — as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your journal content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use TextVantage for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt the Service, or to use it to harass or harm others.

Disclaimers

TextVantage is a journaling tool, not a medical, mental health, or crisis service. It does not provide therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are in crisis or need immediate support, please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on this page.
